The supporters of Baez FC booed when Saint Sophia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Higinio Quiroz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nedas Gol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ni Zhen Feng in the 8th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Conrado Velez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saint Sophia's supporters rose to their feet, but Conrado Velez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thalis Papazisis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Nedas Gol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Danilo Zárate ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nedas Gol was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After a rather tough play, Saint Sophia's Luciano Dunn got a free kick in the 17th minute. After 24 minutes, Luciano Dunn mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Saint Sophia and the Baez FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thalis Papazisis in the 24th minute of play forced Saint Sophia's goalkeeper Nedas Gol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute, Thalis Papazisis made a precise shot to the right of Nedas Gol. Saint Sophia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. But to his dismay, Ni Zhen Feng quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Danilo Zárate scored 0-8 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nedas Gol, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nedas Gol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ni Zhen Feng, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. 46 minutes into the match, Danilo Zárate had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nedas Gol. Saint Sophia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Danilo Zárate was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-9.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kiliz Gonzáles stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Horacio Jesus Carvallo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conrado Velez, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Nedas Gol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danilo Zárate, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ni Zhen Feng got free with Nedas Gol in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kiliz Gonzáles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horacio Jesus Carvallo having to interfere. Nedas Gol made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Thalis Papazisis sent off a good shot on target. 88 minutes into the match, Saint Sophia's goal looked a bit too open when Danilo Zárate came free, but Nedas Gol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Saint Sophia's zone, Thalis Papazisis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nedas Gol came out of the goal and Thalis Papazisis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 90 minutes into the match, Danilo Zárate dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nedas Gol, 0-12. In the 94th minute Baez FC were awarded a corner. Ruperto Ralondo went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Ruperto Ralondo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Nedas Gol quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the match was over Baez FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Saint Sophia throughout the match.
