Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Saint Sophia's Kiliz Gonzáles started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Edelmiro Portal hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. After 4 played minutes Saint Sophia got a freekick which was hit by Natalio Ávila. In the 5th minute, Gong Ao Guang ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nedas Gol was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 9 minutes of play, C.A. Peñarol's Gong Ao Guang made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nedas Gol was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 14th minute, Gong Ao Guang ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nedas Gol was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Xaiver Rosende came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Saint Sophia's Conrado Velez. But to his dismay, Conrado Velez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. In the 21st match minute, C.A. Peñarol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan María Avaria to maneuver through the defense. Nedas Gol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jimeno Infante, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After 26 minutes of play, C.A. Peñarol's Gong Ao Guang made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nedas Gol was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nicolas Alen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Nedas Gol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Gong Ao Guang left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.A. Peñarol fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. Nedas Gol came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by C.A. Peñarol's Gong Ao Guang. But to his dismay, Gong Ao Guang quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. Gong Ao Guang blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nedas Gol having to make a save. Nedas Gol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gong Ao Guang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 44 minutes, Gong Ao Guang managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A. Peñarol's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gong Ao Guang was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 46th minute Gong Ao Guang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nedas Gol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luciano Dunn charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luciano Dunn the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 46 played minutes Saint Sophia got a freekick which was hit by Luciano Dunn. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-6 lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gong Ao Guang stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, C.A. Peñarol's Juan María Avaria got a free kick in the 51st minute. 53 minutes into the match, Gong Ao Guang dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nedas Gol, 1-7. Nedas Gol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Alen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Saint Sophia's Nedas Gol got control of the ball when Gong Ao Guang tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gong Ao Guang got free with Nedas Gol in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, C.A. Peñarol's Eugenio Meo got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Anselmo Velin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Nedas Gol made a huge save. In the 74th minute, C.A. Peñarol's Anselmo Velin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nedas Gol. Nedas Gol yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-9. Nedas Gol was a little too slow when Anselmo Velin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 78th minute. The score was now 1-10. Anselmo Velin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nedas Gol having to make a save. 84 minutes into the match, Saint Sophia's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Velin came free, but Nedas Gol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Anselmo Velin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nedas Gol was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Nedas Gol made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Anselmo Velin sent off a good shot on target. In the 95th minute, C.A. Peñarol's Anselmo Velin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nedas Gol. Nedas Gol yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-11. The Saint Sophia fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. C.A. Peñarol were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
