In the 4th minute of the match, Tomás Thompson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mateo Pedraza saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ksawery Witkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sentis Ciblis in the 7th minute of play. Ksawery Witkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fan Xing Cheng, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 15th minute of the match Bernt Göransson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ksawery Witkowski skillfully saved the ball. Mateo Pedraza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anacleto Dessauer in the 22nd minute of play. Ksawery Witkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sentis Ciblis in the 29th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernt Göransson in the 30th minute of play forced Magallanes's goalkeeper Ksawery Witkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Costa Pacífico FC's goalkeeper Mateo Pedraza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juan Mondaca. In the 36th minute Costa Pacífico FC were awarded a corner. Bernt Göransson went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Costa Pacífico FC's corner Bernt Göransson fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ksawery Witkowski quite easily take care of the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Costa Pacífico FC's Demesio Donaire was substituted for Fernando Martel. In the 77th minute Ida Bagus Leal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateo Pedraza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Costa Pacífico FC's Mateo Pedraza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kadim Sebil in the 81st minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Magallanes's goalkeeper Ksawery Witkowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fan Xing Cheng. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kadim Sebil in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mateo Pedraza saved Costa Pacífico FC from getting behind. For all the effort they put into the match, the Costa Pacífico FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Magallanes.
