Nedas Gol yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. With a little luck, Saint Sophia's Nedas Gol got control of the ball when Xalvador Mac Kenney tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nedas Gol was a little too slow when Xacobo Barroso got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 13th minute. The score was now 3-0. Xalvador Mac Kenney could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Nedas Gol made a huge save. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by Saint Sophia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Reces Cabanillas was slow to take the kick. During this time VILLANUEVA FC's players had a chance to rest. VILLANUEVA FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Reces Cabanillas in the 21st minute. When Xalvador Mac Kenney fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored VILLANUEVA FC's protests and gave Xalvador Mac Kenney a yellow card for diving instead. Xalvador Mac Kenney hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match.
