Talcampeón FC's Edgardo Rondanelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grzegorz Bierfass in the 16th minute of play. Talcampeón FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 17th minute, when Grzegorz Bierfass scored to the left of an out of position Edgardo Rondanelli, making the score, 2-0. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Talcampeón FC's goalkeeper Edgardo Rondanelli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Edgardo Rondanelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grzegorz Bierfass, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zhuo Xuan Yu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelino Fritz, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Grzegorz Bierfass scored 3-0 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edgardo Rondanelli, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Edgardo Rondanelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grzegorz Bierfass in the 43rd minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when Lolo Acharan made the kick off in the second half. Grzegorz Bierfass's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edgardo Rondanelli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Inter de Chillán's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tobías Izamit in the 53rd minute. The corner led Inter de Chillán's Tobías Izamit to fire away a dangerous shot which Edgardo Rondanelli despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 84th minute Eladio Araujo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgardo Rondanelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes had been played when some careless play by Talcampeón FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tobías Izamit was slow to take the kick. During this time Inter de Chillán's players had a chance to rest. 87 minutes into the match, Inter de Chillán's Eladio Araujo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edgardo Rondanelli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Eladio Araujo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edgardo Rondanelli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play.
