With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edgardo Rondanelli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 45th minute Fan Xing Cheng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgardo Rondanelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, Costa Pacífico FC's goalkeeper Mateo Pedraza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mikel Señoret.

Costa Pacífico FC's Demesio Donaire was substituted for Fernando Martel. Mauricio Vidma kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. A collision led to Talcampeón FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Mauricio Vidma hit a great ball. Lukas Carsted took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Edgardo Rondanelli. Talcampeón FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rainerio Huidobro in the 66th minute of play forced Costa Pacífico FC's goalkeeper Mateo Pedraza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the game, Lolo Acharan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Mateo Pedraza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Edgardo Rondanelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernt Göransson, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute.
