The audience was convinced that Fan Xing Cheng's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zachariasz Dudkowski was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. 9 minutes had been played when some careless play by CRUZ DEL SUR's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bernt Göransson was slow to take the kick. During this time Costa Pacífico FC's players had a chance to rest. Mateo Pedraza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pan Lin Zhen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes into the match, CRUZ DEL SUR's goal looked a bit too open when Sentis Ciblis came free, but Zachariasz Dudkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zachariasz Dudkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fan Xing Cheng, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Fan Xing Cheng's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zachariasz Dudkowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pan Lin Zhen in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mateo Pedraza saved Costa Pacífico FC from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ronnie Odell got free with Mateo Pedraza in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. CRUZ DEL SUR's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ronnie Odell in the 42nd minute. It was a well-played corner which Fabio Zorondo managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 44th minute Pan Lin Zhen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateo Pedraza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pan Lin Zhen made a kick off. Mateo Pedraza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronnie Odell in the 55th minute of the match. Pan Lin Zhen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Mateo Pedraza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59th minute, CRUZ DEL SUR's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Lukas Carsted fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. CRUZ DEL SUR's Zachariasz Dudkowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save CRUZ DEL SUR from getting a goal against them. 64 minutes into the match, CRUZ DEL SUR's goal looked a bit too open when Fan Xing Cheng came free, but Zachariasz Dudkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute, Pan Lin Zhen made a precise shot to the right of Mateo Pedraza. Costa Pacífico FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Costa Pacífico FC's Mateo Pedraza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pan Lin Zhen in the 96th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Costa Pacífico FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for CRUZ DEL SUR.
