The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nedas Gol came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Magallanes's Juan Mondaca. But to his dismay, Juan Mondaca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Nedas Gol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anacleto Dessauer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juan Mondaca in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nedas Gol saved Saint Sophia from getting behind. 14 minutes into the match, Juan Mondaca notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Saint Sophia's Nedas Gol. Nedas Gol was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nedas Gol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Mondaca in the 18th minute of the match. Nedas Gol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anacleto Dessauer, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 24th minute Anacleto Dessauer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nedas Gol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the game, Magallanes's Juan Mondaca nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nedas Gol made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Juan Mondaca to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Saint Sophia's Nedas Gol got control of the ball when Juan Mondaca tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 55th minute of the match Magallanes got a corner. Saint Sophia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Seran Turres ran over to the corner to take the kick. Nedas Gol made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Juan Mondaca sent off a good shot on target. 62 minutes into the match, Saint Sophia's goalkeeper Nedas Gol had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juan Mondaca. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Mondaca in the 64th minute of play forced Saint Sophia's goalkeeper Nedas Gol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Saint Sophia's Nedas Gol got control of the ball when Juan Mondaca tried to sneak it across the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Saint Sophia's goalkeeper Nedas Gol had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juan Mondaca. The audience was convinced that Kadim Sebil's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nedas Gol was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Nedas Gol made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Kadim Sebil sent off a good shot on target. Kadim Sebil's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nedas Gol read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Kadim Sebil ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nedas Gol was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. In the 95th minute Kadim Sebil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nedas Gol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
