In the 9th match minute, Magallanes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilio Formoso to maneuver through the defense. Pan Lin Zhen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Magallanes's Val Mac Millan got control of the ball when Pan Lin Zhen tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Pan Lin Zhen kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Val Mac Millan. That made the score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. Pan Lin Zhen might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Val Mac Millan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pan Lin Zhen ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Magallanes's Christian Aravena got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 19th minute of the match, Ronnie Odell tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Val Mac Millan saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 21 played minutes Magallanes got a freekick which was hit by Quintín Aranda. Magallanes's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Pan Lin Zhen scored to the left of an out of position Val Mac Millan, making the score, 2-0. Pan Lin Zhen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Val Mac Millan made a huge save. Val Mac Millan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pan Lin Zhen's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Pan Lin Zhen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Val Mac Millan made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Pan Lin Zhen sent off a good shot on target. Magallanes's defense didn't have a chance, in the 39th minute, when Pan Lin Zhen scored to the left of an out of position Val Mac Millan, making the score, 3-0. The supporters of CRUZ DEL SUR booed when Magallanes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brian Izaga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pan Lin Zhen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Val Mac Millan made a huge save. Val Mac Millan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pan Lin Zhen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Magallanes's Val Mac Millan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pan Lin Zhen in the 46th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pan Lin Zhen to make the kick off. Val Mac Millan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pan Lin Zhen went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Pan Lin Zhen sped through Magallanes's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Val Mac Millan. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pan Lin Zhen in the 63rd minute of play forced Magallanes's goalkeeper Val Mac Millan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pan Lin Zhen might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Val Mac Millan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pan Lin Zhen ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pan Lin Zhen in the 65th minute of play forced Magallanes's goalkeeper Val Mac Millan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Magallanes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Val Mac Millan should have stopped the shot. Magallanes's Val Mac Millan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabio Zorondo in the 75th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Pan Lin Zhen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Val Mac Millan. Magallanes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pan Lin Zhen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Pan Lin Zhen might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Val Mac Millan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pan Lin Zhen ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pan Lin Zhen in the 82nd minute of play forced Magallanes's goalkeeper Val Mac Millan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aníbal Aguacero got free with Zachariasz Dudkowski in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Magallanes's Salomone Marrodan got a free kick in the 85th minute. Val Mac Millan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pan Lin Zhen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 92 minutes of play, CRUZ DEL SUR's Pan Lin Zhen made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Val Mac Millan was left in no man's land by his defense there! CRUZ DEL SUR walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
