An unexpectedly hard shot by Grzegorz Bierfass in the 5th minute of play forced Talcampeón FC's goalkeeper Edgardo Rondanelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6thth minute of the game Grzegorz Bierfass who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Talcampeón FC's Edgardo Rondanelli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Edgardo Rondanelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grzegorz Bierfass in the 9th minute of play. Grzegorz Bierfass scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edgardo Rondanelli, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Edgardo Rondanelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grzegorz Bierfass, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Lolo Acharan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zhuo Xuan Yu. Inter de Chillán's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lolo Acharan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Grzegorz Bierfass scored 1-2 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edgardo Rondanelli, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Grzegorz Bierfass's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edgardo Rondanelli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. In the 29th minute of the match, Mikel Señoret got a very nice opportunity to score, but Zhuo Xuan Yu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After having played for 33 minutes, Grzegorz Bierfass managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Inter de Chillán's supporters crossed their fingers, but Grzegorz Bierfass was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Talcampeón FC defense, Grzegorz Bierfass kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edgardo Rondanelli. The Talcampeón FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edgardo Rondanelli should have stopped the shot. 39 minutes into the match, Talcampeón FC's goal looked a bit too open when Grzegorz Bierfass came free, but Edgardo Rondanelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgardo Rondanelli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Grzegorz Bierfass went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lolo Acharan in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zhuo Xuan Yu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lolo Acharan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grzegorz Bierfass in the 51st minute of play forced Talcampeón FC's goalkeeper Edgardo Rondanelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 53rd minute Grzegorz Bierfass shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgardo Rondanelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lolo Acharan in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zhuo Xuan Yu saved Inter de Chillán from getting behind. With a little luck, Talcampeón FC's Edgardo Rondanelli got control of the ball when Florencio Jax tried to sneak it across the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, Inter de Chillán's Grzegorz Bierfass sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edgardo Rondanelli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 63rd minute of the match Inter de Chillán got a corner. Talcampeón FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tobías Izamit ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Grzegorz Bierfass had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Edgardo Rondanelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grzegorz Bierfass, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grzegorz Bierfass in the 68th minute of play forced Talcampeón FC's goalkeeper Edgardo Rondanelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th play minute Grzegorz Bierfass came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Edgardo Rondanelli. 1-5. Inter de Chillán's Eladio Araujo was substituted for Grzegorz Bierfass. If Eladio Araujo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mikel Señoret scored 2-5 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zhuo Xuan Yu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Talcampeón FC's Edgardo Rondanelli got control of the ball when Eladio Araujo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edgardo Rondanelli was out of position in the 92 minute of play, and Eladio Araujo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal.
