In the 15th minute, Santos Oskitz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Peyo Kaadekilde was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 22nd minute, Santos Oskitz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atlético Atlanta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Naldo Paiva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Carlos Germano made a huge save. Peyo Kaadekilde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santos Oskitz in the 31st minute of the match. Peyo Kaadekilde breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The La Banda del Tinto players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Club Atlético Atlanta were winning 1-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Naldo Paiva stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. La Banda del Tinto's Naldo Paiva got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Club Atlético Atlanta's Carlos Germano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Naldo Paiva in the 91st minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Sigvard Vase notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Club Atlético Atlanta's Carlos Germano. Carlos Germano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the final whistle sounded Club Atlético Atlanta left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than La Banda del Tinto.
