Albano Orlanda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldão Fenomeno, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Niceto Ramirez couldn't finish the play. When Edgar Capixaba fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RIVER y NADA MÁS 09.12.18's protests and gave Edgar Capixaba a yellow card for diving instead. In the 26th minute, Edgar Capixaba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Cordearo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Mustafa Arif Devrim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chivos's goalkeeper Albano Orlanda, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. RIVER y NADA MÁS 09.12.18 were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after Chivos's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ariel Rey took the corner. The corner led RIVER y NADA MÁS 09.12.18's Ariel Rey to fire away a dangerous shot which Albano Orlanda despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 41 minutes RIVER y NADA MÁS 09.12.18's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ubaldo Oinatz who took care of the corner kick. If Ronaldão Fenomeno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ronaldão Fenomeno blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Albano Orlanda having to make a save. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Thodoris Katsiaros during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mustafa Arif Devrim had in the 74thth minute some difficulties stopping Reynaldo Calvet's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Mustafa Arif Devrim came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Chivos's Reynaldo Calvet. But to his dismay, Reynaldo Calvet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Albano Orlanda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ma Xiang Yang, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. If Ma Xiang Yang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 88 minutes into the match, Ma Xiang Yang notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Chivos's Albano Orlanda. Albano Orlanda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Albano Orlanda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melih-Hamza Joanesarson in the 94th minute of play. The supporters of RIVER y NADA MÁS 09.12.18 booed when Chivos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Cordearo didn't get a good kick on the ball.
