After 4 minutes, Romulo Hulberto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Tiburones Sorobarri C and the Quebrachitos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Los Tiburones Sorobarri C's Romulo Hulberto got a free kick in the 4th minute. Luis Nisio was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 5 minutes into the match. In the 7th minute there was a penalty for Quebrachitos FC. Tadeu Pombal stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jose Urko. 0-1. Antonio Abadie's late challenge caught a Quebrachitos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Antonio Abadie helped the player get up and apologised. After 12 played minutes Los Tiburones Sorobarri C got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Abadie. 13 minutes into the match, Los Tiburones Sorobarri C's goal looked a bit too open when Aníbal Barca came free, but Jose Urko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jose Urko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emiliano Gai in the 15th minute of play. Jose Urko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aníbal Barca, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. When Aníbal Barca came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Quebrachitos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aníbal Barca couldn't finish the play. In the 20th minute, Bernardo Stephen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jose Urko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeu Pombal in the 21st minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, Emiliano Gai had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jose Urko. Los Tiburones Sorobarri C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emiliano Gai was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Aníbal Barca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 27th minute Aníbal Barca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Urko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 29 played minutes Los Tiburones Sorobarri C got a freekick which was hit by Eulalio Elija. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aníbal Barca in the 31st minute of play forced Los Tiburones Sorobarri C's goalkeeper Jose Urko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 32 minutes of play, Quebrachitos FC's Aníbal Barca made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jose Urko was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jose Urko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aníbal Barca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the match, Aníbal Barca had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jose Urko. Los Tiburones Sorobarri C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aníbal Barca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Jose Urko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emiliano Gai, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Los Tiburones Sorobarri C's Bernardo Stephen managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Tadeu Pombal in the 47 minute of the game. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rosendo Goyo to strike the kick off in the second half. If Tadeu Pombal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 55th play minutes Aníbal Barca shot 0-6, a short shot which went by Jose Urko and just under the crossbar into goal. After 58th play minutes Aníbal Barca shot 0-7, a short shot which went by Jose Urko and just under the crossbar into goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emiliano Gai got free with Jose Urko in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aníbal Barca was extremely unlucky when he, in the 65th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aníbal Barca in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jose Urko saved Los Tiburones Sorobarri C from getting behind. 76 minutes had been played when some careless play by Los Tiburones Sorobarri C's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tadeu Pombal was slow to take the kick. During this time Quebrachitos FC's players had a chance to rest. Emiliano Gais short, quick shot in the 78thth minute got Jose Urko to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The throw-in from Romulo Hulberto in the 82nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Quebrachitos FC's Geronimo Fernendo. After 83 played minutes Los Tiburones Sorobarri C got a freekick which was hit by Cristo Koldobika. When Tadeu Pombal came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Quebrachitos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tadeu Pombal couldn't finish the play. 85 minutes into the match, Gregg Popovich had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jose Urko. Los Tiburones Sorobarri C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gregg Popovich was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-9. 88 minutes into the match, Emiliano Gai notched a goal, 0-10, to the right of Los Tiburones Sorobarri C's Jose Urko. Jose Urko was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 91 minutes, Emiliano Gai managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quebrachitos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emiliano Gai was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jose Urko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aníbal Barca, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. When the match was over Quebrachitos FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Los Tiburones Sorobarri C throughout the match.
