The audience was convinced that Ren Jie Fan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oscar Ekhi was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Ren Jie Fan took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Oscar Ekhi to make any attempt to save it. Ruperto Enol was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 12 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in GeRaÇãO-83 fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 12th minute. Penalty! Dieguinho Paraíba had in the 16thth minute some difficulties stopping Tadeu Pombal's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Tadeu Pombal did an outstanding performance 16 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 1-1 to the right of an irritated Dieguinho Paraíba in the goal. 19 minutes into the match, Emiliano Gai notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of GeRaÇãO-83's Dieguinho Paraíba. Dieguinho Paraíba was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the GeRaÇãO-83 defense, Emiliano Gai kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dieguinho Paraíba. The GeRaÇãO-83 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dieguinho Paraíba should have stopped the shot. Aníbal Barca hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Dieguinho Paraíba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aníbal Barca, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. When Quebrachitos FC's Aníbal Barca in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 39th minute, Ren Jie Fan fired away a shot that was totally unreachable for Oscar Ekhi. The ball ended up just outside the left post, and GeRaÇãO-83's manager could be seen angrily pacing the sidelines. 45 minutes into the match, GeRaÇãO-83's goal looked a bit too open when Aníbal Barca came free, but Dieguinho Paraíba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Quebrachitos FC were leading 2-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emiliano Gai to make the kick off. Oscar Ekhi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stig Sandström in the 50th minute of the match. After having played for 55 minutes, Stig Sandström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GeRaÇãO-83's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stig Sandström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Quebrachitos FC's Oscar Ekhi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ren Jie Fan in the 58th minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Quebrachitos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ren Jie Fan came free, but Oscar Ekhi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dieguinho Paraíba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aníbal Barca in the 67th minute of play. Quebrachitos FC's Oscar Ekhi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ren Jie Fan in the 69th minute of play. Carolo Chuse's shot from long distance in the 74th minute was not bad at all, but GeRaÇãO-83's Dieguinho Paraíba knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Dieguinho Paraíba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aníbal Barca in the 80th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, GeRaÇãO-83's Ren Jie Fan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Oscar Ekhi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Oscar Ekhi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ren Jie Fan in the 87th minute of play. The GeRaÇãO-83 manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Quebrachitos FC to win.
