Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antal Valentin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 45th minute, Vilo Futbol Club's Stefan Warka ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fodor Daniel. Fodor Daniel yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Basilio Fagondo to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Stefan Warka came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Hungary defense, Stefan Warka kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fodor Daniel. The Hungary fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fodor Daniel should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Vilo Futbol Club booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vörös Henrik didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vilo Futbol Club's Delmiro Ospin was substituted for Matt Carabott. A collision led to Hungary getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Vörös Henrik hit a great ball. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ezequiel Ceballos in the 62nd minute of the match. Antal Valentin made a great header on Hungary's corner, it was just that Vilo Futbol Club's Fabian Emeterio managed to reach the ball for a save. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basilio Fagondo in the 67th minute of play. After 96 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Hungary! The Vilo Futbol Club players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
