Dacian Cârju took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Sachs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th minute, Nelu Oblemenco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ☆☆AC☆☆TG-OCNA☆☆ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Nelu Oblemenco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nelu Oblemenco in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. In the 16th minute Frank Sachs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dacian Cârju saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ivan Ilieș had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dacian Cârju took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Sachs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ivan Ilieș's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ivan Ilieș in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frank Sachs in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dacian Cârju prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Nelu Oblemenco sped through Germany's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dacian Cârju made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Sachs in the 39th minute of play. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Ilieș in the 42nd minute of play. 45 minutes into the game, Nelu Oblemenco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nelu Oblemenco to strike the kick off in the second half. Vintilă Fânaru kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nelu Oblemenco in the 55th minute of play. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 76th minute of the game Chris Mergenthaler made a throw-in which Frank Sachs played forward. In the 78th minute Frank Sachs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dacian Cârju saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zlatan Ibrahimov scored 5-0 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With his leg Dacian Cârju managed to avoid a goal in the 92ndth minute, when Germany's Frank Sachs fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. For all the effort they put into the match, the Germany players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for ☆☆AC☆☆TG-OCNA☆☆.
