The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Kapaneus Kokkinos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Vavrinec Holub. The goal made the score 1-0. Akamas Sarris could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Vavrinec Holub made a huge save. Sofoklis Atsidakos's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 9thth minute, Vavrinec Holub skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Kapaneus Kokkinos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Czech Republic's goalkeeper Vavrinec Holub, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Sofoklis Atsidakos sped through Czech Republic's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vavrinec Holub. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sofoklis Atsidakos in the 15th minute of play forced Czech Republic's goalkeeper Vavrinec Holub to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute, Arkas Kapsimalles ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vavrinec Holub was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Jilek in the 21st minute of play forced ΑΠΕΠ ΠΙΤΣΙΛΙΑΣ's goalkeeper Iosif Moisakos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Arkas Kapsimalles's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vavrinec Holub was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Vavrinec Holub made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zethos Bocsusis in the 25th minute of play. Arkas Kapsimalles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd minute of the match Czech Republic got a corner. Erik Jilek made a great header on Czech Republic's corner, it was just that ΑΠΕΠ ΠΙΤΣΙΛΙΑΣ's Iosif Moisakos managed to reach the ball for a save. Thanks to some nice moves Sofoklis Atsidakos could shoot a difficult shot in the 36th minute, which Vavrinec Holub however easily saved by the left post. In the 37th minute of the match ΑΠΕΠ ΠΙΤΣΙΛΙΑΣ got a corner. Czech Republic's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kapaneus Kokkinos ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led ΑΠΕΠ ΠΙΤΣΙΛΙΑΣ's Thanasis Tselios to a score. 4-0 in the 37th minute. Valdemar Turecek hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. 42 minutes into the match, ΑΠΕΠ ΠΙΤΣΙΛΙΑΣ's Kapaneus Kokkinos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vavrinec Holub narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 44 minutes into the match, Czech Republic's goal looked a bit too open when Sofoklis Atsidakos came free, but Vavrinec Holub reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 45 minutes, Kvetoslav Janku mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Czech Republic and the ΑΠΕΠ ΠΙΤΣΙΛΙΑΣ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 45 played minutes Czech Republic got a freekick which was hit by Kvetoslav Janku. After a defensive mix-up in Czech Republic's zone, Sofoklis Atsidakos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vavrinec Holub came out of the goal and Sofoklis Atsidakos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When Daniel Vitek fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Czech Republic's protests and gave Daniel Vitek a yellow card for diving instead. In the 52nd match minute, Czech Republic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Vitek to maneuver through the defense. Arkas Kapsimalles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Vavrinec Holub tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iosif Moisakos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Jilek, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Vavrinec Holub stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sofoklis Atsidakos's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Sofoklis Atsidakos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sofoklis Atsidakos in the 65th minute of play forced Czech Republic's goalkeeper Vavrinec Holub to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Arkas Kapsimalles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 69 minutes into the game, ΑΠΕΠ ΠΙΤΣΙΛΙΑΣ's Arkas Kapsimalles nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vavrinec Holub made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Vavrinec Holub took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sofoklis Atsidakos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bohumir Kohout kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, Czech Republic's goal looked a bit too open when Arkas Kapsimalles came free, but Vavrinec Holub reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 81 minutes, Sofoklis Atsidakos made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Vavrinec Holub came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by ΑΠΕΠ ΠΙΤΣΙΛΙΑΣ's Sofoklis Atsidakos. But to his dismay, Sofoklis Atsidakos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. After 91 played minutes Czech Republic got a freekick which was hit by Bohumir Kohout. After 93 minutes of play, ΑΠΕΠ ΠΙΤΣΙΛΙΑΣ's Arkas Kapsimalles made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vavrinec Holub was left in no man's land by his defense there!
