Gijsbert ter Kruimer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Tigran Khachaturyan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 4 minutes into the game, Kurt Gerdberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Toqui Fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Netherlands the free kick. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Toqui Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kurt Gerdberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnout Reekers made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Eustacio Casos sent off a good shot on target. Tigran Khachaturyan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars Meesters in the 8th minute of the match. A collision led to Toqui Fc getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Miguel Duñabeitia hit a great ball. After 11 played minutes, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tigran Khachaturyan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Netherlands reached it. If Lars Meesters had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute of the match, Anthony Cullen got a very nice opportunity to score, but Arnout Reekers was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After having played for 21 minutes, Luiz Massa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Toqui Fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luiz Massa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Toqui Fc's Tigran Khachaturyan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 23rd minute of play. Netherlands were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after Toqui Fc's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the corner. 38 minutes into the match, Toqui Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Tigran Khachaturyan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lars Meesters sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gustaaf Groeneveldt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tigran Khachaturyan having to make a save. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
Eustacio Casos kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Toqui Fc's Tigran Khachaturyan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Toqui Fc from getting a goal against them. Tigran Khachaturyan was a little too slow when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 1-1. When Gijsbert ter Kruimer came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gijsbert ter Kruimer couldn't finish the play. In the last second Tigran Khachaturyan throw himself and got hold of the ball when Wim Wilmes in the 64thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Netherlands were awarded a corner in the 65th minute after Toqui Fc's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the corner. In the 69th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tigran Khachaturyan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute, David Eikelkamp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Toqui Fc made a substitution. Felipo Navarrete replaced Kurt Gerdberg. Toqui Fc's Ricardo Puyol was substituted for Salamón Ovalle. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Israel Hernandez, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Israel Hernandez spun around in front of the goal 79 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Netherlands's goal. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Mathijn Doctor got a free kick in the 81st minute. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anthony Cullen in the 85th minute of the match. After 88 played minutes Toqui Fc got a freekick which was hit by Dennis Trillkott. Through an outstanding action, after 90 minutes, Tigran Khachaturyan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eustacio Casos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipo Navarrete in the 95th minute of play. Arnout Reekers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felipo Navarrete's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. Netherlands were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Toqui Fc to leave the ground with a draw.
