Placido Clementi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toni Mauzer in the 14th minute of the match. Ermegildo Domeka charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ermegildo Domeka the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ermegildo Domeka hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Bernabe Remicio was extremely unlucky when he, in the 34th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. With a little luck, Croatia's Ilija Skugor got control of the ball when Fermin Quin tried to sneak it across the goal line. 37 minutes into the game, Neven Culina was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Croatia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Profecías de Parravicini the free kick. A collision led to Croatia getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Ilija Skugor yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1.

In the 55th minute, Fermin Quin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ilija Skugor was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Ilija Skugor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernabe Remicio, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. The supporters of Croatia booed when Profecías de Parravicini was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paolo Maiorga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fermin Quin in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. The coaching staff of Croatia protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Patrik Terzic had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 72nd minute there was a penalty for Profecías de Parravicini. Ermegildo Domeka stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ilija Skugor. 4-1. Placido Clementi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduard Kostelac in the 93rd minute of the match. Martin Bosak's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Placido Clementi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. In the 97th minute, Salvador Nabar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There was no doubt that Profecías de Parravicini were the better team. Profecías de Parravicini's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
