Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Portugal's Viriato Moura started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the game, Ömer Demirci recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Wilson Amorim. Ömer Demirci showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After 6 played minutes KOCAELİSPOR got a freekick which was hit by Baba Yorgun. If Önder Ünlü had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. KOCAELİSPOR's Ömer Demirci got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Şemsettin Tuyuğ showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Barreto in the 22nd minute of the match. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ömer Demirci in the 25th minute of play. Fiori Britto hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Şemsettin Tuyuğ made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Barreto in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd minute Viriato Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şemsettin Tuyuğ saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Şemsettin Tuyuğ showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caetano Moreira in the 36th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in KOCAELİSPOR's zone, Felipe Barreto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Şemsettin Tuyuğ came out of the goal and Felipe Barreto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ömer Demirci stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. KOCAELİSPOR's Şemsettin Tuyuğ played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caetano Moreira in the 53rd minute of play. KOCAELİSPOR's Şemsettin Tuyuğ proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save KOCAELİSPOR from getting a goal against them. In the 59th minute, Portugal's Felipe Barreto ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Şemsettin Tuyuğ. Şemsettin Tuyuğ yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. KOCAELİSPOR made a substitution. Hami Şahistan replaced Fiori Britto. KOCAELİSPOR made a substitution. Aşır Zabit replaced Ömer Demirci. KOCAELİSPOR's Rafet Hazin was substituted for Ediz Tekdoğan. Faustino Almeida hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Portugal's Felipinho Amorim was substituted for Felipe Barreto. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. Faustino Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by KOCAELİSPOR's Aşır Zabit. But to his dismay, Aşır Zabit quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. 78 minutes into the match, KOCAELİSPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Bartolomeu Dias came free, but Şemsettin Tuyuğ reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Şemsettin Tuyuğ made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolomeu Dias in the 78th minute of play. When Bartolomeu Dias got free in front of the goal in the 78th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Şemsettin Tuyuğ was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 81 minutes into the match, Aşır Zabit had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aşır Zabit was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. Şemsettin Tuyuğ made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Pimentel in the 84th minute of play. Aşır Zabit recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 91 minutes into the match, KOCAELİSPOR's Aşır Zabit sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilson Amorim narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Aşır Zabit sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aşır Zabit in the 93rd minute of play. Önder Ünlü received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Wilson Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
