Spectators: 51 (Terracing: 39, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) FC Fura Balizas's Fabrício Lopes started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Siricio Liotta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 2nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 4th minute of play forced FC Fura Balizas's goalkeeper Long Gang Sen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Long Gang Sen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. If Mario Azeari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Flavio Vittori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Azeari, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 14 minutes, Zaccheo Andolina managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Italy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zaccheo Andolina was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Olívio Ribas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olívio Ribas, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Flavio Vittori stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Olívio Ribas's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. In the 23rd minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Long Gang Sen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th minute of the match Italy got a corner. FC Fura Balizas's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sigfrido Auletta ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Sigfrido Auletta got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Long Gang Sen quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Flavio Vittori didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 26th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olívio Ribas in the 29th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Fura Balizas's Vicente Madruga got a free kick in the 34th minute. When Sigfrido Auletta came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Italy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sigfrido Auletta couldn't finish the play. Zaccheo Andolina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 45th minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Long Gang Sen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th match minute, FC Fura Balizas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olívio Ribas to maneuver through the defense. Fumo Alto's late challenge caught a Italy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fumo Alto helped the player get up and apologised. In the 48th minute, Zaccheo Andolina got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zaccheo Andolina was the one to do the kick off. Gusmão Benevides hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. FC Fura Balizas's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
