Vladyslav Galuschak's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tommy Kahn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. FC Kolos's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vladyslav Galuschak in the 36th minute. A collision led to FC Kolos getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Andriy Perekolyanovych hit a great ball. Albin Holweck hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

FC Kolos's Maxym Sulimenko was substituted for Denys Sokolovsjkyi. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Maxym Sulimenko made a kick off. If Maxym Sulimenko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frank Sachs might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Geovani Baiano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frank Sachs ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Germany's Malte Schiele got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 97thth minute of the game Maxym Sulimenko who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
