Giuseppe Marques succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-1 in the 41st playminute. Imran Johnsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Casper Granqvist in the 44th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Pegaso FC were furious when Ceferino Venceslao was red carded, 74 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Pegaso FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 73rd minute. Penalty! The referee gave A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】 a penalty, 76 minutes into the game. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cipriano Abreu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Imran Johnsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vilhelm Tikka, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. After 94 minutes Pegaso FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dalmo Soares who took care of the corner kick. Imran Johnsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jari Jaakkola in the 97th minute of the match.
