Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucio Stanislao in the 10th minute of play. Lauras Pukelevičius kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. El Fortín de Floresta's Santos Orlan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 16th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Salvador Hats. In the 30th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santos Orlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Wim Wilmes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 34 minutes in the game, Lucio Stanislao fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Arnout Reekers having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salvador Hats in the 35th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. El Fortín de Floresta's Santos Orlan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 41st minute of play. A collision led to El Fortín de Floresta getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Alvino Tinto hit a great ball.

The wind increased when Salvador Hats made the kick off in the second half. El Fortín de Floresta's Santos Orlan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Meesters in the 58th minute of play. Lucio Stanislao might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnout Reekers. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lucio Stanislao ran back to his position shaking his head. Santos Orlan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Eikelkamp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71st minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Netherlands's David Eikelkamp to fire away a dangerous shot which Santos Orlan despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. El Fortín de Floresta's Santos Orlan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 73rd minute of play. In the 75th match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wim Wilmes to maneuver through the defense. El Fortín de Floresta's Delmar Manex was substituted for Desiderio Brais. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Wim Wilmes hit a great ball. The supporters of Netherlands booed when El Fortín de Floresta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salvador Hats didn't get a good kick on the ball. Santos Orlan came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt. But to his dismay, Gustaaf Groeneveldt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Santos Orlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 92nd minute of play. In the 96th minute Lucio Stanislao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The El Fortín de Floresta fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Netherlands were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
