The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Santos Orlan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edward Vanderstraeten went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Salvador Hats in the 5thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Casper Claes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind El Fortín de Floresta's goalkeeper Santos Orlan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Belgium's Yves Dervaux in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavio Luar in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 18th minute of play forced El Fortín de Floresta's goalkeeper Santos Orlan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santos Orlan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 27th minute of the match. Casper Claes made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Salvador Hats sent off a good shot on target. Lisandro Martinez got a throw-in 30 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Salvador Hats. After 34 minutes Belgium's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alvino Tinto who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on El Fortín de Floresta's corner Desiderio Brais fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Casper Claes quite easily take care of the ball. Santos Orlan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 38 played minutes El Fortín de Floresta got a freekick which was hit by Desiderio Brais. Edward Vanderstraeten blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Santos Orlan having to make a save. Santos Orlan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 40th minute of the match. 43 minutes into the match, El Fortín de Floresta's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Vanderstraeten came free, but Santos Orlan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Santos Orlan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Santos Orlan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. 62 minutes into the match, El Fortín de Floresta's goalkeeper Santos Orlan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yves Dervaux. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind El Fortín de Floresta's goalkeeper Santos Orlan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 66th minute, Yves Dervaux made a precise shot to the right of Santos Orlan. El Fortín de Floresta's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salvador Hats in the 68th minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the game, Yves Dervaux was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Belgium's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Fortín de Floresta the free kick. The supporters of El Fortín de Floresta booed when Belgium was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yves Dervaux didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Belgium's Yves Dervaux got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Yves Dervaux could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Santos Orlan made a huge save. Casper Claes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delmar Manex, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Edward Vanderstraetens short, quick shot in the 85thth minute got Santos Orlan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 86th minute of the match, Edward Vanderstraeten tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Santos Orlan saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. El Fortín de Floresta's Wincent Oryl was substituted for Casimiro Policarpio. A nice corner shot did that Edward Vanderstraeten got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Santos Orlan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The Belgium supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Belgium would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
