Belgium's players were relieved. In the 10th match minute, Belgium was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nigel Devos to maneuver through the defense. Jonatan Licerio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 14th minute of the match. Hector Bladi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 19 minutes into the match, Big Babousa's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Vanderstraeten came free, but Jonatan Licerio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonatan Licerio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. When Anıl Zaik came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Big Babousa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anıl Zaik couldn't finish the play. Belgium's Casper Claes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Belgium from getting a goal against them. 28 minutes into the match, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonatan Licerio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Belgium's Casper Claes got control of the ball when Anıl Zaik tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fermín Trujillo had several of the Belgium's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 30 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Casper Claes as he didn't even see the shot coming. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fermín Trujillo in the 32nd minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fermín Trujillo got free with Casper Claes in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fermín Trujillo in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Casper Claes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fermín Trujillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Casper Claes made a huge save. Jonatan Licerio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Bladi in the 44th minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Edward Vanderstraeten made the kick off in the second half. Alejandro Cordaryal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 50th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Vanderstraeten got free with Jonatan Licerio in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector Bladi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ysmael Tagle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casper Claes having to interfere. Edward Vanderstraeten struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Jonatan Licerio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Belgium. Siebe Michiels received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Jonatan Licerio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonatan Licerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Casper Claes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anıl Zaik in the 79th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Big Babousa's goalkeeper Jonatan Licerio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edward Vanderstraeten. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten managed to get in a good position for a shot. Belgium's supporters rose to their feet, but Edward Vanderstraeten was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonatan Licerio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Big Babousa made a substitution. Julio-César Dely Valdés replaced Fermín Trujillo. If Edward Vanderstraeten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Big Babousa's zone, Edward Vanderstraeten stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonatan Licerio came out of the goal and Edward Vanderstraeten tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Big Babousa were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Belgium for a fine match.
