Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Omar Toledo made the kick off which started today's match. Spain's defense didn't have a chance, in the 4th minute, when Mats Nyström scored to the left of an out of position Gabriel Ascaso, making the score, 1-0. After having played for 7 minutes, Mats Nyström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Golden Lions FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mats Nyström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Loco Durazno might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gabriel Ascaso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Loco Durazno ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 14th minute Omar Toledo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anders Lundqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Loco Durazno to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Loco Durazno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Ascaso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. At last the ball reached Joschi Hook at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Spain. 3-0. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Omar Toledo took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Anders Lundqvist to make any attempt to save it. 62 minutes into the match, Spain's goal looked a bit too open when Mats Nyström came free, but Gabriel Ascaso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Spain made a substitution. Carles Cherro replaced Omar Toledo. Gabriel Ascaso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Loco Durazno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anders Lundqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adria Bielsa, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Carles Cherro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Anders Lundqvist made a huge save. In the 77th minute of the match, Carles Cherro got a very nice opportunity to score, but Anders Lundqvist was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mats Nyström in the 80th minute of play forced Spain's goalkeeper Gabriel Ascaso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anders Lundqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carles Cherro in the 86th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Loco Durazno managed to get in a good position for a shot. Golden Lions FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Loco Durazno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gabriel Ascaso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Spain made a substitution. Pau Herrero replaced David Aranda. 91 minutes into the game, Carles Cherro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Anders Lundqvist. Carles Cherro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-2. Gabriel Ascaso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cosme Larpe's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. The Golden Lions FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
