Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alto Gøl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alto Gøl could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Casper Claes made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eladio Ulloa in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Casper Claes saved Belgium from getting behind. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. But to his dismay, Edward Vanderstraeten quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 40 minutes into the match, Edward Vanderstraeten notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Ballet Azul's Gino Tonić. Gino Tonić was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Belgium's Floris Claeys managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Leonel Sánchez in the 45 minute of the game. With a little luck, Belgium's Casper Claes got control of the ball when Alto Gøl tried to sneak it across the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eladio Ulloa to make the kick off. Nigel Devos kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. Casper Claes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristián Fenieux, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 56th match minute, Belgium was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Sabbe to maneuver through the defense. Edward Vanderstraeten scored 0-3 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gino Tonić, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 66th match minute, Belgium was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Floris Claeys to maneuver through the defense. After 67 played minutes Belgium got a freekick which was hit by Floris Claeys. Eladio Ulloa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yves Dervaux recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edward Vanderstraeten scored 0-4 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gino Tonić, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Casper Claes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oğuzhan Öksak, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 86th play minute Edward Vanderstraeten came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Gino Tonić. 0-5. Leonel Sánchez's late challenge caught a Belgium's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonel Sánchez helped the player get up and apologised. Belgium made a substitution. Alain Desmet replaced Siebe Michiels. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Belgium had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
