Netherlands were awarded a corner in the 52th minute after Capivara's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the corner. Capivara's 狄雄鸿 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Capivara from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Capivara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arthur Brodel didn't get a good kick on the ball.
