Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Italy's Zaccheo Andolina started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes in the game Elpidio Laurgain did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Károly Bogdán. Teodosio Iigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Siricio Liotta in the 9th minute of the match. In the 13th minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodosio Iigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Italy's Zaccheo Andolina sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Teodosio Iigo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 18th minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodosio Iigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zaccheo Andolina in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teodosio Iigo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Porziano Marchitelli in the 25th minute of play forced AZURDUY F.C.'s goalkeeper Teodosio Iigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Italy were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after AZURDUY F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sigfrido Auletta took the corner. Tom Hermansson kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Sigfrido Auletta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Italy's supporters rose to their feet, but Sigfrido Auletta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teodosio Iigo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gomberto Picozzi kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 34th match minute, Italy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zena Busacca to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 35 minutes, Károly Bogdán managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AZURDUY F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Károly Bogdán was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tom Hermansson in the 38th minute of play. In the 40th minute Tom Hermansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Vittori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tom Hermansson to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Gianpaolo Mascari suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elpidio Laurgain during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Italy's Guiscardo Davide was substituted for Gianpaolo Mascari. In the 68th minute of the match, Zaccheo Andolina tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Teodosio Iigo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 70th minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodosio Iigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Deodato Magliozzi's late challenge caught a AZURDUY F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Deodato Magliozzi helped the player get up and apologised. Deodato Magliozzi kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. 76 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Tom Hermansson came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niclas Füllkrug in the 78th minute of play. Teodosio Iigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zaccheo Andolina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 91 minutes, Teodosio Iigo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Arnaldo Ostots made in the 92nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Elpidio Laurgain. The supporters of Italy booed when AZURDUY F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niclas Füllkrug didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 96th match minute, AZURDUY F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Valerio to maneuver through the defense. Italy played a much better game than AZURDUY F.C. and deserved their victory. The AZURDUY F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
