Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Frank Sachs started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute, Frank Sachs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Elderslie Magpies's Aden Couzens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albin Holweck in the 11th minute of play. 12 minutes into the game, Elderslie Magpies's Steven Chaptal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Corbett Alonso in the 17th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elderslie Magpies's Aden Couzens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Sachs in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Frank Sachs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 24 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Corbett Alonso came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Elderslie Magpies's Sam Mccartan got a free kick in the 26th minute. Frank Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Aden Couzens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute Steven Chaptal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Burns Muller kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 37th play minute Rick Souness came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Tommy Kahn. 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Elderslie Magpies's zone, Frank Sachs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aden Couzens came out of the goal and Frank Sachs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 43rd minute Rick Souness shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Corbett Alonso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Kahn was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Steven Chaptal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Neal Weatherby in the 53rd minute of play. In the 56th minute, Frank Sachs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Neal Weatherby in the 59th minute of the match. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rick Souness in the 61st minute of play. In the 64th minute Steven Chaptal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Corbett Alonso scored 3-0 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Steven Chaptal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. 74 minutes into the game, Corbett Alonso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 80th minute Ovidio Etxekopar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elderslie Magpies made a substitution. Cipriano Gilabert replaced Neal Weatherby. Robben Robbermond was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 85th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The supporters of Elderslie Magpies booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Malte Schiele didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 94th minute of play forced Elderslie Magpies's goalkeeper Aden Couzens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cipriano Gilabert scored 6-0 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
