Daniel Afloroaiei took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viriato Moura in the 15th minute of play forced Flying Hellfish's goalkeeper Kazimierz Wielkopolski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute, Felipe Barreto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Portugal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After a rather tough play, Flying Hellfish's Karl-Oskar Lund got a free kick in the 24th minute. Kazimierz Wielkopolski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viriato Moura in the 25th minute of the match. Kazimierz Wielkopolski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viriato Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Viriato Moura in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kazimierz Wielkopolski saved Flying Hellfish from getting behind. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Afloroaiei in the 27th minute of play. 29 minutes into the game, Byron Shipman threw the ball into play from the sideline. Portugal's Graciano Coutinho quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 32 minutes, Michael Miels mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Flying Hellfish and the Portugal players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 32 played minutes Flying Hellfish got a freekick which was hit by Michael Miels. Daniel Afloroaiei in the 41stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Wilson Amorim, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 48th minute, Nevada Soto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Afloroaiei stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th match minute, Portugal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caetano Moreira to maneuver through the defense. In the 56th minute of the match Everitt Obree sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wilson Amorim skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Flying Hellfish's Karl-Oskar Lund got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 66th match minute, Portugal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Graciano Coutinho to maneuver through the defense. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. Flying Hellfish's Karl Howarth was substituted for Daniel Afloroaiei. Graciano Coutinho hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Michael Miels's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilson Amorim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl Howarth in the 70th minute of play. In the 82nd minute Flying Hellfish were awarded a corner. Everitt Obree went to the cornerflag to take it. 87 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Karl Howarth came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Flying Hellfish booed when Portugal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Pimentel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl Howarth, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Byron Shipman hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Felipinho Amorim scored 3-3 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kazimierz Wielkopolski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 94 minutes into the match, Karl Howarth had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Karl Howarth was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-3. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl Howarth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Flying Hellfish had won after a very even match.
