In the 4th minute Sydney Quirino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carmelo De Pablo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 4 played minutes CANIL VON ZAATARI™️ got a freekick which was hit by Matías Marques. Dan Petrescu got a throw-in 9 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Nilmar Cearense. In the 10th match minute, CANIL VON ZAATARI™️ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ezequiel Gonçalves to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's zone, Giovani da Rocha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carmelo De Pablo came out of the goal and Giovani da Rocha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Édouard Mendy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jakes Vila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s Édouard Mendy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jakes Vila in the 17th minute of play. After some careless play in the CANIL VON ZAATARI™️ defense, Antxo Alvarez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Édouard Mendy. The CANIL VON ZAATARI™️ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Édouard Mendy should have stopped the shot. Jakes Vila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Giovani da Rocha in the 28thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Carmelo De Pablo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Dan Petrescu made in the 30th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Ezequiel Gonçalves however managed to control. Giovani da Rocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Carmelo De Pablo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giovani da Rocha in the 47th minute of play forced ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's goalkeeper Carmelo De Pablo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The CANIL VON ZAATARI™️ players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Giovani da Rocha was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antxo Alvarez got free with Édouard Mendy in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jakes Vila ran back to his position shaking his head. CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s Édouard Mendy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save CANIL VON ZAATARI™️ from getting a goal against them. When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Osvaldo Shantala sped through ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Carmelo De Pablo. ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Guido Escobar was substituted for Jakes Vila. Carmelo De Pablo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giovani da Rocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Édouard Mendy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guido Escobar in the 79th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Guido Escobar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Édouard Mendy was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. With a little luck, CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s Édouard Mendy got control of the ball when Guido Escobar tried to sneak it across the goal line. 85 minutes into the game, Nilmar Cearense was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guido Escobar in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Édouard Mendy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Guido Escobar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dan Petrescu got a throw-in 91 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Osvaldo Shantala. ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Carmelo De Pablo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giovani da Rocha in the 92nd minute of play. CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s Nilmar Cearense got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s Édouard Mendy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guido Escobar in the 96th minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
