The supporters of Portugal booed when C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Montes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benedicto Ireno stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Pimentel's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. In the 16th minute, C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Márk Stephen ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. A throw-in in the 21st minute of the game was made by Honorato Gasteiz with Fernando Seber as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Benedicto Ireno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caetano Moreira in the 22nd minute of play. Portugal's Wilson Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Portugal from getting a goal against them. In the 25thth minute of the game Felipe Barreto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Benedicto Ireno was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albino Baladi, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Montes came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benedicto Ireno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Pimentel, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After 32 minutes C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Felipe Barreto who took care of the corner kick. C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Benedicto Ireno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Barreto in the 40th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Barreto in the 41st minute of play forced C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's goalkeeper Benedicto Ireno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Portugal getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Bruno Bastos hit a great ball. 47 minutes into the game, Portugal's Felipe Barreto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benedicto Ireno made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Viriato Moura was the one to do the kick off. Felipe Barreto scored 1-2 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benedicto Ireno, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Márk Stephen came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Márk Stephen couldn't finish the play. Portugal made a substitution. Bartolomeu Dias replaced Viriato Moura. C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Patrick Linares was substituted for Fernando Seber. C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Yin Wei Yi was substituted for Colas Valdueza. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodosio Montes in the 72nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Portugal defense, Teodosio Montes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wilson Amorim. The Portugal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilson Amorim should have stopped the shot. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albino Baladi in the 82nd minute of play. In the 82nd minute Albino Baladi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodosio Montes in the 85th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Albino Baladi notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Portugal's Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Benedicto Ireno made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Graciano Coutinho sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrick Linares in the 95th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 97 minutes into the match, Yin Wei Yi notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of Portugal's Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
