Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Antal Valentin started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Cvitanović saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 5 minutes had been played when some careless play by MKS Maczka's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antal Valentin was slow to take the kick. During this time Hungary's players had a chance to rest. Emil Cvitanović made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 6th minute of play. Eugeniusz Kolbert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emil Cvitanović took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Major Barna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute, Major Barna ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emil Cvitanović was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Emil Cvitanović showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Takacs Tibor, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Eugeniusz Kolbert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 32 minutes into the match, Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eugeniusz Kolbert. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fodor Daniel made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Eugeniusz Kolbert sent off a good shot on target. In the 39th minute, Antal Valentin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eugeniusz Kolbert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The MKS Maczka players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hungary were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Eugeniusz Kolbert made the kick off in the second half. In the 61st minute, Igor Fleischer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 62 played minutes MKS Maczka got a freekick which was hit by Cătălin Herea. A long shot from Antal Valentin in the 63rd minute of play was well struck, but Emil Cvitanović made a really good save at the right post. If Eugeniusz Kolbert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugeniusz Kolbert in the 72nd minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eugeniusz Kolbert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind MKS Maczka's goalkeeper Emil Cvitanović, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. MKS Maczka's Emil Cvitanović played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 87th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in MKS Maczka's zone, Antal Valentin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emil Cvitanović came out of the goal and Antal Valentin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. MKS Maczka made a substitution. Pankracy Gaszynski replaced Igor Fleischer. When the final whistle sounded Hungary left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than MKS Maczka.
