Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Eugeniusz Kolbert took the kick off in the first half of the match. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugeniusz Kolbert in the 5th minute of play. Antal Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emil Cvitanović having to interfere. If Eugeniusz Kolbert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fodor Daniel was out of position in the 12 minute of play, and Eugeniusz Kolbert capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eugeniusz Kolbert really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Emil Cvitanović came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Hungary's Antal Valentin. But to his dismay, Antal Valentin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Emil Cvitanović showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Eugeniusz Kolbert blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fodor Daniel having to make a save. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugeniusz Kolbert in the 20th minute of play. In the 24th match minute, Hungary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Szekeres Tamas to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eugeniusz Kolbert got free with Fodor Daniel in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Eugeniusz Kolbert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 33 minutes into the match, Eugeniusz Kolbert had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fodor Daniel. Hungary's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eugeniusz Kolbert was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 47th minute Eugeniusz Kolbert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 49th minute MKS Maczka were awarded a corner. Folke Samuelsson went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led MKS Maczka's Folke Samuelsson to fire away a dangerous shot which Fodor Daniel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Antal Valentin to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, MKS Maczka's Wincenty Sakowicz got a free kick in the 58th minute. Eugeniusz Kolbert hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. 68 minutes had been played when some careless play by MKS Maczka's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antal Valentin was slow to take the kick. During this time Hungary's players had a chance to rest. MKS Maczka's Eugeniusz Kolbert got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 72 minutes into the match, Antal Valentin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Emil Cvitanović, 2-2. Emil Cvitanović took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Major Barna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 77 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Szekeres Tamas. The supporters of MKS Maczka booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Szekeres Tamas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugeniusz Kolbert in the 79th minute of the match. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 83rd minute of play forced MKS Maczka's goalkeeper Emil Cvitanović to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th match minute, Hungary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antal Valentin to maneuver through the defense. Antal Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emil Cvitanović having to interfere. Eugeniusz Kolbert hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. After 96 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Szekeres Tamas. Eugeniusz Kolbert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Despite being the better team, Hungary failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
