Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ilgaz Şirvan got the match started through his kick off. Caio da Rocha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilson Amorim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Ilgaz Şirvan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Wilson Amorim. That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. With a little luck, Portugal's Wilson Amorim got control of the ball when Caio da Rocha tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 9th minute Viriato Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Bueno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's goal looked a bit too open when Caetano Moreira came free, but Abel Bueno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilson Amorim was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Caio da Rocha showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 18 minute of play. Abel Bueno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Barreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abel Bueno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caetano Moreira in the 23rd minute of play. Portugal were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after Qikiqtarjuaq FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Felipe Barreto took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Felipe Barreto got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Abel Bueno quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Abel Bueno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viriato Moura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abel Bueno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viriato Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Qikiqtarjuaq FC's goalie and right to Daniel Pimentel. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 36 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Daron Keen came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 37 played minutes Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Pimentel. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Alfonzo Davidson was substituted for Gary Thomason. After a rather tough play, Portugal's Daniel Pimentel got a free kick in the 38th minute. If Caio da Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfonzo Davidson's late challenge caught a Portugal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfonzo Davidson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 41st minute, Alfonzo Davidson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Portugal's Wilson Amorim got control of the ball when Caio da Rocha tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 46 played minutes Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Faustino Almeida. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Viriato Moura made a kick off. After 50 played minutes Qikiqtarjuaq FC got a freekick which was hit by Eugenio Ross. 52 minutes into the game, Viriato Moura recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Abel Bueno. Viriato Moura showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Qikiqtarjuaq FC made a substitution. Bastien Aldridge replaced Ilgaz Şirvan. In the 59th minute, Alfonzo Davidson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abel Bueno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Bastos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 61 played minutes Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Miranda. In the 64th minute of the match Qikiqtarjuaq FC got a corner. Portugal's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daron Keen ran over to the corner to take the kick. Chong Sheppard made a great header on Qikiqtarjuaq FC's corner, it was just that Portugal's Wilson Amorim managed to reach the ball for a save. Felipe Barreto received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Abel Bueno came out and tried to block the shot, but Felipe Barreto slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 66th minute. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caio da Rocha in the 71st minute of the match. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Eugenio Ross managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Faustino Almeida in the 72 minute of the game. After 75 minutes, Eugenio Ross mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Qikiqtarjuaq FC and the Portugal players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Portugal booed when Qikiqtarjuaq FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugenio Ross didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 76 played minutes Qikiqtarjuaq FC got a freekick which was hit by Eugenio Ross. Felipinho Amorim came free with the goalkeeper in the 77th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Abel Bueno could save by the left post. After 80 minutes of play, Portugal's Felipinho Amorim made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Abel Bueno was left in no man's land by his defense there! Caetano Moreira hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. If Wilton Boyles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bastien Aldridge might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wilson Amorim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bastien Aldridge ran back to his position shaking his head. 89 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Bastien Aldridge came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bastien Aldridge in the 90th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Bastien Aldridge got a free kick in the 93rd minute. During the 94th minute of the match Eugenio Ross completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Eugenio Ross a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Eugenio Ross hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Abel Bueno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartolomeu Dias, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Portugal had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
