Marcus Ekrot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Siricio Liotta in the 7th minute of the match. Marcus Ekrot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Porziano Marchitelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Tage Glanselius kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, Zaccheo Andolina had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcus Ekrot. Vykans Vikingar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zaccheo Andolina was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 16 minutes in the game Hugo Eden did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Fernan Berart. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Mutumba in the 16th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 18th minute of play forced Vykans Vikingar's goalkeeper Marcus Ekrot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Sigfrido Auletta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcus Ekrot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zaccheo Andolina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zaccheo Andolina took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcus Ekrot. Marcus Ekrot dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Italy's Flavio Vittori proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Italy from getting a goal against them. Hugo Eden kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zaccheo Andolina in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcus Ekrot prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Italy's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alessandro Micucci ran over to the corner to take the kick. A collision led to Vykans Vikingar getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Hugo Eden hit a great ball. Zaccheo Andolina kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. When Emmanuel Dennis fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vykans Vikingar's protests and gave Emmanuel Dennis a yellow card for diving instead. In the 46th match minute, Vykans Vikingar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emmanuel Dennis to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zaccheo Andolina stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Siricio Liotta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zaccheo Andolina took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcus Ekrot. In the 57th minute, Zaccheo Andolina got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The throw-in from Hugo Eden in the 59th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Italy's Siricio Liotta. Zaccheo Andolina received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marcus Ekrot came out and tried to block the shot, but Zaccheo Andolina slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 62nd minute. Hugo Eden made in the 64th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Fernan Berart immediately put the ball in play. In the 66th match minute, Vykans Vikingar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alessandro Micucci to maneuver through the defense. The Vykans Vikingar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. Italy's Flavio Vittori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Genaro Remicio in the 87th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Siricio Liotta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Italy's supporters rose to their feet, but Siricio Liotta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcus Ekrot breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcus Ekrot made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guiscardo Davide in the 91st minute. In the 92nd minute, Italy's Guiscardo Davide fired away a free kick that almost went in the goal, but it hit the crossbar and went out into the crowd. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Italy walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
