Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Denmark's Chris Nygaard started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Luizão Mendonça hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Chorache Morellana kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Castel Areces left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Xspark Academy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 23rd minute Castel Areces shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keld Paulsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xspark Academy's Lorenzo Gonzalez managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Mikkel Wulff in the 27 minute of the game. Keld Paulsen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Castel Areces in the 32nd minute. With a little luck, Denmark's Keld Paulsen got control of the ball when Castel Areces tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 35 played minutes Xspark Academy got a freekick which was hit by Valdo Santervas. 46 minutes into the game, Fidensio Rioz threw the ball into play from the sideline. Denmark's Lars Steen quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Castel Areces to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Denmark defense, Castel Areces kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Keld Paulsen. The Denmark fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Keld Paulsen should have stopped the shot. In the 57th match minute, Xspark Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chorache Morellana to maneuver through the defense. Emmanuel Bardel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chris Nygaard in the 58th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Castel Areces in the 61st minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Xspark Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Chris Nygaard came free, but Emmanuel Bardel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th minute Castel Areces shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keld Paulsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chorache Morellana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Keld Paulsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Denmark's Lars Steen quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Fidensio Rioz, made in the 72nd minute of the game. After 73 played minutes Denmark got a freekick which was hit by Simon Bendtsen. Chorache Morellana blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Keld Paulsen having to make a save. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Henric Sandwall put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Keld Paulsen. The throw-in from Fidensio Rioz in the 81st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Denmark's Lars Steen. 85 minutes into the game, Fidensio Rioz threw the ball into play from the sideline. Denmark's Lars Steen quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Keld Paulsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henric Sandwall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute Henric Sandwall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keld Paulsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Keld Paulsen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Henric Sandwall's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. Xspark Academy's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
