Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Cai Inestrosa made the kick off which started today's match. Nils-Erik Askelöf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 8th minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils-Erik Askelöf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nils-Erik Askelöf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 17th minute of the match. Southern Thrashers's Angelino Ospin got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fodor Daniel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Angelino Ospin in the 26th minute. Southern Thrashers's Nils-Erik Askelöf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 29th minute of play. Takacs Tibor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils-Erik Askelöf having to interfere. Nils-Erik Askelöf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Antal Valentin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nils-Erik Askelöf having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antal Valentin in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nils-Erik Askelöf prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 46th minute, Cebo Arnero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Hungary were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antal Valentin made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Takacs Tibor in the 51st minute of play forced Southern Thrashers's goalkeeper Nils-Erik Askelöf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 52nd minute, Cebo Arnero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 53 minutes into the match, Hungary's Antal Valentin broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The supporters of Hungary booed when Southern Thrashers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cebo Arnero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hegedus Henrik might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nils-Erik Askelöf. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hegedus Henrik ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 64th minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils-Erik Askelöf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 66 minutes, Major Barna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Major Barna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Battle Minne in the 69th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 72nd minute of play forced Southern Thrashers's goalkeeper Nils-Erik Askelöf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Southern Thrashers's Dan Cubitt got a free kick in the 79th minute. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Major Barna took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Nils-Erik Askelöf to make any attempt to save it. Nurkan Salah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodor Daniel having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Cai Inestrosa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Southern Thrashers's supporters rose to their feet, but Cai Inestrosa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fodor Daniel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Southern Thrashers's goalkeeper Nils-Erik Askelöf, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
