Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Bertram Svenningsen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Claudinho Saldanha having to make a save. Claudinho Saldanha came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Denmark's Bertram Svenningsen. But to his dismay, Bertram Svenningsen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Renascer's Claudinho Saldanha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chris Nygaard in the 10th minute of play. Claudinho Saldanha came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Denmark's Chris Nygaard. But to his dismay, Chris Nygaard quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 16 minutes into the game, Lars Steen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Claudinho Saldanha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Denmark's Lars Steen pulled a muscle in his back after 20 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 21 played minutes Renascer got a freekick which was hit by Patrick Lucas. Malthe Lassen took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Claudinho Saldanha. Renascer's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 0-4 became the score in the 23rd minute when Chris Nygaard elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Chris Nygaard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Claudinho Saldanha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 28 minutes, Mikkel Wulff managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Denmark's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mikkel Wulff was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Claudinho Saldanha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chris Nygaard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 32 minutes, Claudinei Vinhas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Renascer's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claudinei Vinhas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Malthe Lassen came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Denmark fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Malthe Lassen couldn't finish the play. In the 36th minute Claudinei Vinhas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keld Paulsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claudinho Saldanha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chris Nygaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. If Chris Nygaard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bertram Svenningsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudinho Saldanha having to interfere. Claudinho Saldanha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chris Nygaard in the 43rd minute of play. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aílton Gerber stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 60 minutes into the match, Aílton Gerber notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Denmark's Keld Paulsen. Keld Paulsen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 64th minute Chris Nygaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinho Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chris Nygaard in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Claudinho Saldanha saved Renascer from getting behind. A collision led to Renascer getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Patrick Lucas hit a great ball. Armandinho Recife hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 74th minute, Claudinei Vinhas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Keld Paulsen was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. 86 minutes into the match, Bertram Svenningsen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Claudinho Saldanha. Renascer's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bertram Svenningsen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-5. If Chris Nygaard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Claudinho Saldanha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bertram Svenningsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 94 minutes into the match, Renascer's goalkeeper Claudinho Saldanha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chris Nygaard. Denmark's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
