Mandalas's Zeca Couve played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sreten Popovic in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Obi Kenobi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mandalas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. A sloppy throw-in by Magno Freitas in the 18th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Serbia's Borjan Golubovic. With a little luck, Serbia's Zvezdan Nedeljkovic got control of the ball when Luan Silveira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 25 minutes, Zvezdan Nedeljkovic successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Borjan Golubovic hit a great ball. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Obi Kenobi in the 42nd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Marquinhos Ramalho took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Zvezdan Nedeljkovic to make any attempt to save it.

The wind increased when Sreten Popovic made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Serbia defense, Behzat Oğuzhan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zvezdan Nedeljkovic. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic was left in no man's land by his defense there!
