In the 3rd minute, Samuel Jobo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jarbas Quadros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Pimentel in the 7th minute of play. Jarbas Quadros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Pimentel in the 9th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, PREZULO FC's Marquinhos Santos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilson Amorim narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 13th minute, Marquinhos Santos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wilson Amorim was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 22 minutes into the match, PREZULO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Barreto came free, but Jarbas Quadros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the PREZULO FC defense, Felipe Barreto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jarbas Quadros. The PREZULO FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jarbas Quadros should have stopped the shot. 27 minutes in the game Shi Xi Zhen did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Marquinhos Santos. In the 28th match minute, Portugal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolfo Miranda to maneuver through the defense. Wilson Amorim made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Marquinhos Santos sent off a good shot on target. Jarbas Quadros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viriato Moura in the 39th minute of play. Marquinhos Santos might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wilson Amorim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marquinhos Santos ran back to his position shaking his head. Marquinhos Santos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Wilson Amorim made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marquinhos Santos got free with Wilson Amorim in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marquinhos Santos was the one to do the kick off. Marquinhos Santos scored 2-1 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wilson Amorim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jarbas Quadros made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Felipe Barreto sent off a good shot on target. In the 65th minute, Samuel Jobo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. PREZULO FC's Betão de Brito was substituted for Olgierd Literski. PREZULO FC made a substitution. Felipinho Amorim was extremely unlucky when he, in the 68th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 85th minute, Isaac Ferreira made a precise shot to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. Franz Beckenbauer hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 90thth minute of the game Isaac Ferreira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Portugal's Wilson Amorim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 94th minute of the match PREZULO FC got a corner. Portugal's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Shi Xi Zhen ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
