Eguen Armesto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Major Barna's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Eguen Armesto didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Hungary's Antal Valentin shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Eguen Armesto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Valentin in the 31st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Major Barna in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eguen Armesto saved Cruzeiro RS from getting behind. With a little luck, Hungary's Fodor Daniel got control of the ball when Sílvio Lucas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fred de Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Fodor Daniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Antal Valentin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eguen Armesto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Hungary's Fodor Daniel got control of the ball when Fred de Barros tried to sneak it across the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zé Paulo Pombal made a kick off. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Paulo Pombal in the 52nd minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Paulo Pombal came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Cruzeiro RS getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Amauri Ribeiro hit a great ball. When Antal Valentin came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antal Valentin couldn't finish the play. After 71 played minutes Cruzeiro RS got a freekick which was hit by Oséas Tasso. Cruzeiro RS made a substitution. Diego Peres replaced Oséas Tasso. In the 72nd minute, Oséas Tasso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 73 minutes into the match, Takacs Tibor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eguen Armesto. Cruzeiro RS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Takacs Tibor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. A collision led to Hungary getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Vörös Henrik hit a great ball. Vörös Henrik kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Fodor Daniel came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Cruzeiro RS's Fred de Barros. But to his dismay, Fred de Barros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2.
