After 17 played minutes Venezia FC got a freekick which was hit by Sultan-Mehmet De Paula. 19 minutes into the match, Venezia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eulalio Cucao came free, but Fernan Ralondo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Angel Guillelmus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ezequiel Demesio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernan Ralondo having to interfere.
