Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ivan Ţopescu took the kick off in the first half of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcus Rush during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Marcus Rush kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kyle Cox in the 4th minute of play forced Cosmos Soccer Club's goalkeeper Dan Gheară to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. England's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Micah Macdonald in the 5th minute. After 8 played minutes England got a freekick which was hit by Xavier Gallagher. Khalid Kennedy made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Grant McKay sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Grant McKay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cosmos Soccer Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Grant McKay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Khalid Kennedy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Caelan Hayes charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Caelan Hayes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 24th minute Issac Dawson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Gheară saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Micah Macdonald sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Marcus Rush sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Khalid Kennedy was a little too slow when Marcus Rush got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 1-0. After 38 minutes of play, England's Kyle Cox made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dan Gheară was left in no man's land by his defense there! Khalid Kennedy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Ţopescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Cosmos Soccer Club getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Marcus Rush hit a great ball. Micah Macdonald kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

After a rather tough play, Cosmos Soccer Club's Waldo Bean got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Dan Gheară showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kyle Cox, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Issac Dawson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Gheară having to interfere. Dan Gheară made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kyle Cox in the 60th minute of play. The supporters of Cosmos Soccer Club booed when England was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Seth Young didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, England's Issac Dawson got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 70th minute, Marcus Rush left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cosmos Soccer Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. When Kyle Cox came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the England fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kyle Cox couldn't finish the play. Micah Macdonald could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Dan Gheară made a huge save. A collision led to Cosmos Soccer Club getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Marcus Rush hit a great ball. Micah Macdonald struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Dan Gheară didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for England. Kyle Cox could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Dan Gheară made a huge save. Cosmos Soccer Club were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of England for a fine match.
