Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gijsbert ter Kruimer kicked off to start the match. Daniel Gavin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 7th minute of play. Daniel Gavin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Petro Atlético's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Daniel Gavin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nuno Mendes in the 26th minute of the match. Petro Atlético's Daniel Gavin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 29th minute of play. In the 32nd minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. Petro Atlético's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. Daniel Gavin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 34th minute of play. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Daniel Gavin. Daniel Gavin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 37th match minute, Petro Atlético was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nuno Mendes to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. Petro Atlético's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Daniel Gavin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The audience was convinced that Gustaaf Groeneveldt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Daniel Gavin was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. When Bas Tuitert fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Netherlands's protests and gave Bas Tuitert a yellow card for diving instead. In the 41st match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bas Tuitert to maneuver through the defense. Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The wind increased when Nuno Mendes made the kick off in the second half. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Szczepan Joks in the 51st minute of play. Osasun Palomino kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Lars Meesters managed to get in a good position for a shot. Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but Lars Meesters was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Gavin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 62nd minute of play forced Petro Atlético's goalkeeper Daniel Gavin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt to fire away a dangerous shot which Daniel Gavin despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Petro Atlético's Daniel Gavin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 67th minute of play. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Szczepan Joks, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Nuno Mendes took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nuno Mendes in the 80th minute of the match. Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Gavin having to interfere. Petro Atlético's Daniel Gavin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Meesters in the 89th minute of play. In the 91st match minute, Petro Atlético was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Magno Bastos to maneuver through the defense. Gijsbert ter Kruimer received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Daniel Gavin came out and tried to block the shot, but Gijsbert ter Kruimer slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 94th minute. Netherlands played a much better game than Petro Atlético and deserved their victory. The Petro Atlético players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
