The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Segundo Eufemio in the 4th minute of play forced Romania's goalkeeper Carol Stinga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 5th minute of the match Compugraf got a corner. Romania's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. 贺南磊 ran over to the corner to take the kick. Duda Veiga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Olaru in the 6th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Segundo Eufemio in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carol Stinga saved Romania from getting behind. In the 14th minute, Ciro Amaral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Duda Veiga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam Olaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Compugraf's Walter Tufan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carol Stinga narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 17 minutes Romania's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was 贺南磊 who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Compugraf's corner 贺南磊 fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Carol Stinga quite easily take care of the ball. Adam Olaru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Duda Veiga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Segundo Eufemio in the 21st minute of play forced Romania's goalkeeper Carol Stinga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Duda Veiga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Olaru in the 23rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Adam Olaru's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Duda Veiga was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Romania's Carol Stinga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walter Tufan in the 26th minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Romania's goalkeeper Carol Stinga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Walter Tufan. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Compugraf's 王霆镇 was substituted for Walter Tufan. Compugraf's Chico Freire was substituted for Segundo Eufemio. The wind increased when Adam Olaru made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Romania's Vasile Ciumak got a free kick in the 57th minute. After 58 played minutes Compugraf got a freekick which was hit by Valer Jurca. The supporters of Romania booed when Compugraf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valer Jurca didn't get a good kick on the ball. 63 minutes into the game, Ciro Amaral was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Compugraf's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Romania the free kick. In the 64th match minute, Compugraf was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciro Amaral to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Chico Freire's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carol Stinga was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Duda Veiga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octavian Vaduva, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. After 70 minutes Compugraf's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sanda Cutov who took care of the corner kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alexandru Pangratiu in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Duda Veiga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 83rd minute, Rasvan Cristescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anton Stinga in the 93rd minute of play forced Compugraf's goalkeeper Duda Veiga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Romania's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sanda Cutov in the 94th minute. A nice corner shot did that Sanda Cutov got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Duda Veiga quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 96 played minutes Compugraf got a freekick which was hit by Chico Freire. The crowd rose to their feet as Alexandru Pangratiu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Duda Veiga. That made the score 0-2 in the 97 minute of play. When the match was over Romania could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Compugraf throughout the match.
