The audience thought a goal was coming when Luís Diaz got free with Tommy Kahn in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Martínez in the 11th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frank Sachs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jordan Pickford read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. the mills's Luís Diaz got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 22 minutes into the game, Frank Sachs cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Jordan Pickford was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luís Diaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Germany's Malte Schiele got a free kick in the 27th minute. Jordan Pickford showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Sachs in the 31st minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, the mills's Daniel Martínez ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Daniel Martínez managed to get in a good position for a shot. the mills's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Martínez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Kahn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Daniel Martínez took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Tommy Kahn to make any attempt to save it. Luís Diaz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tommy Kahn came out and tried to block the shot, but Luís Diaz slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 47th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luís Diaz was the one to do the kick off. Edson Lagala's late challenge caught a Germany's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edson Lagala helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to the mills getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Edson Lagala hit a great ball. Albin Holweck struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Jordan Pickford didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Germany. Jordan Pickford was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Frank Sachs showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-2 in the 67 minute of play. In the 73rd match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Dreifuss to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of the mills booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Dreifuss didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 82 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Frank Sachs. Jordan Pickford made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frank Sachs in the 84th minute. 86 minutes into the game, Luís Diaz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-2. Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 88 played minutes the mills got a freekick which was hit by Charlie Chaplin. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Taurino Barambio managed to get in a good position for a shot. the mills's supporters rose to their feet, but Taurino Barambio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Kahn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Frank Sachs came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Germany fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Sachs couldn't finish the play. There was no doubt that the mills were the better team. the mills's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
