Cacá Ba got a throw-in 20 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Joppe Hvenegaard. A hard shot 24 in the game by Sten Kvick from a close distance when the talented Tommy Kahn managed to make a qualified save. Germany's players were relieved. In the 26th minute, Wrexham's Sten Kvick ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 28th match minute, Wrexham was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bitxintxo Lobado to maneuver through the defense. Sten Kvick's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tommy Kahn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. 2-0 became the score in the 34th minute when Prudencio Ixidor elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Dimitri Payet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frank Sachs to strike the kick off in the second half. Sten Kvick took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prudencio Ixidor, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 61st minute, Bitxintxo Lobado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 63rd match minute, Wrexham was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cacá Ba to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute, Prudencio Ixidor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 70th minute, Prudencio Ixidor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Prudencio Ixidor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tommy Kahn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Siro Suarez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. Prudencio Ixidor blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tommy Kahn having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prudencio Ixidor in the 79th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Cacá Ba fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wrexham's protests and gave Cacá Ba a yellow card for diving instead. Cacá Ba kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, Wrexham's goalkeeper Lorenz Ureta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frank Sachs. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prudencio Ixidor in the 91st minute of play. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Wrexham's Prudencio Ixidor. But to his dismay, Prudencio Ixidor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Wrexham's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
